Diabetes Self Management Classes
Comprehensive education classes are available for all adults with diabetes mellitus and their family members. Classes are held 08:30 AM - 04:00 PM on the first and second Wednesday of each month and include training on home glucose monitoring, nutrition therapy, exercise therapy, foot care and much more.

Registration is required prior to attending the class.
Diabetes FollowUp
This is a meeting held ever fourth Wednesday of the month from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM and is primarily targeted at patients who have already completed the comprehensive diabetes education classes. The follow-up meeting reviews goals to include information on medications, meal planning, and the latest research in diabetes.

Professional Staff Diabetes Workshop
This is a two-day program offered for nurses, dietitians, physical therapists, and any other health care professional who desires to become more educated on diabetes and its treatment and prevention. Upon completing the course, nurses will receive 13.5 CEU. This course is only open to WRAMC staff.
