- The Department of Pathology and Area Laboratory Services (DPALS) is a modern, hospital-based laboratory offering a full range of clinical and anatomic laboratory services. It is organized with a centralized, main laboratory and a satellite acute care laboratory.

- Diagnostic Immunology
- Logistical, automation, specimen handling, and personnel support functions are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via the Acute Care Laboratory.
