Arts & Crafts
  The Arts and Crafts Center features a wood shop, ceramic studio, photo lab, framing shop, jewelry workshop, and a fine-arts studio for painting, drawing, stained-glass and leather work, and a custom framing service. The sales store at the center carries supplies for art or craft projects.

Auto Craft Shop
The Auto Craft Shop is available for service members, their families, retirees, and DoD civilian personnel. The shop provides the space and tools for people to do their own auto repair.

The shop is open all days except Sunday and holidays.

Bowling Center
The bowling center has eight lanes with automatic scorer, eight overhead screens connected to cable TV, a snack bar, and a small pro shop. The center is available for special affairs.

The center is open on all days.

Community Center
Classes offered at the community center include: Okinawa Kenpo Karate, ballet/modern/jazz dance, and aerobics. The center may also be reserved for meetings, birthday parties, etc.

Center is open Monday through Friday except holidays.

Fitness Center
The WRAMC Fitness Center offers a variety of training options, ranging from aerobics, kickboxing and yoga, to computerized strength and fitness equipment and a full compliment of state-of-the-art free weight equipment. Housing over 20-plus treadmills, numerous fitness bikes, steppers and cross trainers, WRAMC Fitness Center can easily boast its ability to offer more fitness opportunities per square foot than any other center of its size.

Information, Tickets and Reservations (ITR)
The ITR office offer discount tickets to the Capital Center/US Air Arena (Bullets, Capitols, special shows and events); Patriot Center; Busch Gardens; Adventure World; King's Dominion; National Aquarium, Baltimore; and other local tourist, sightseeing, and special events. Also available are ski lift tickets, entertainment books, hotel reservations and reservations for Walt Disney World.

The office is functional Monday through Friday.

NCO and Enlisted Club
Located in Abrams Hall overlooking the Rose Garden, the Walter Reed NCO and Enlisted Club features food, beverages, and entertainment at competitive prices. It is available to all Walter Reed enlisted members as well as civilian employees in the grade of SG-6 (or equivalent) and below. The club is available for private parties. The club also operates a coffee shop in the lover-level lobby of the main hospital, building 2, as well as coffee stands on the third floor of building 2, and in the lobby of Delano Hall, building 11. All are open to all Walter Reed patients, employees, and guests.

Officers Lounge
The Walter Reed Officers' Lounge provides a continental breakfast for residents of the inn Monday through Friday. The lounge features a social hour each Friday and occasional live entertainment on Friday evenings. The lounge is available for private functions.

Outdoor Recreation
The Outdoor Recreation program includes programs for skiing, white-water rafting, and canoeing. Equipment is available at a nominal cost for skiing, camping, boating, fishing, canoeing, golf, and many other outdoor activities. A picnic and athletic area is also available by reservation for company or organization functions.

Patient Recreation
The Patient Recreation Program offers a diversified leisure program for WRAMC patients and their families. The lounge provides billiards, table tennis, television, videocassette movies, board and card games, a reading area, bingo, local area tours, live shows, crafts, community programs with local religious groups and schools, and jointly sponsored programs with the Red Cross, chaplains, and dining facility.

Open Monday through Saturday, all holidays except Sundays.

Sports
Walter Reed has a diversified sports program consisting of unit level intramural leagues in softball, tackle football, basketball, and volleyball; individual events and tournaments in tennis, track and field, cross country; varsity (post level) traveling teams for men and women; and many self directed activities. The youth sports program consists of basketball, softball, T-ball, soccer, and bowling.
